They Used to Be Just a Facebook Page. Now Guests Book Directly on Their Website.

The problem: "Is this legit?"
Before we worked with La Julia Island Beach Resort, they had just one online presence: a Facebook page.
There's nothing wrong with a Facebook page — that's where the people are. But there's a problem that isn't obvious at first: when you're a resort with only a Facebook page, some guests hesitate. Before they send a message, they wonder: Is this legit? How do I book? Where can I see the full list of rooms and rates?
That was La Julia's situation. The resort is beautiful, but they looked smaller and newer than they really are — simply because of how they appeared online. Every booking went through Messenger: one question at a time, one answer at a time.
What we did: one week, a complete setup
In one week, we brought the entire front of their business online:
- Their own website — complete resort information: rooms, amenities, photos, location, and how to get there
- Booking system — guests can now book directly on the website, any time of day, with no need to wait for a Messenger reply
- Booking management system — on the other side, the resort gets a clear view of every booking — no longer scattered across Messenger threads
- Business email — a professional email address on their own domain, no more free email
One week. Not one month, not "next quarter." Complete, live, and the domain is theirs.

After the website went live:
- Guests now book directly on the website — this is new; before, it was impossible because there was nowhere to book
- Inquiries increased — the website and Facebook page work together: people find you on FB, check you out on the website, then book
- Our favorite detail: one of the first bookings on the website came from a complete stranger — a guest from Infanta, Quezon who booked the Tower House directly on the website. Not an acquaintance, not from the FB page, but someone who found them online. That's exactly what a website is for: bringing in customers you don't even know yet.
The website didn't replace Facebook — most guests still start there, and that's fine. The difference: they now have an official home online that proves they're legit, open 24/7, and taking bookings even while the owner sleeps.
The next step (and the real lesson)
There's one question La Julia can't answer precisely yet: exactly how many inquiries come in each week, where the most bookings come from, and which months to prepare for?
They're not tracking this yet — and that's the next step: upgrading to an analytics dashboard so they can see exactly what's working. It's also the lesson for other resort owners: the website is the start, but the data is what drives growth.
